2017 Fall/Winter  Art Beat Classes

Introduction to Pique Assiette Mosaic
Pique assiette is the art that incorporates broken dishes and found objects into a mosaic design.   This class will cover designing, cutting, gluing and proper finishing methods. Feel free to bring your own broken crockery and knick-knacks to add to your piece. The class project will be a mirror frame or garden planter.
Dates: Thursdays-Oct 19th and Oct 26th (2 weeks) 
Time 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm 
Cost: $90  plus Materials $25
Mosaic Pebble Workshop       
Design a stepping stone using different types of rock, pebble, shells, sea glass, etc. This class teaches proper techniques for attaching items to your piece with thinset. You will create a one of a kind piece to keep and cherish.  
Dates: Thursdays    11/9 (1 week)
Time: 6:30 to 9:00 pm
Class fee $35  plus Materials Fee is $20 

2018- A Series of one day workshops
Mosaic Valentine Heart  Workshop           
  Thursday   February 1st   (1 week)     6:30 to 8:30 pm
Come and create a unique Valentine Heart for yourself or someone you love. We will use a variety of materials to make a one of a kind heart.  Class cost $ plus $20 for materials payable to teacher at first class.
Mosaic Tulip Garden Stake                      
       Thursday   February 8th    (1 week)     6:30 to 8:30 pm
Design your own Tulip to put in your garden. You will create a 3D tulip using a variety of mosaic materials and thinset. Class cost $ plus $20 for materials payable to teacher at first class.
Mosaic Stepping Stone Workshop              
     Thursday   March 15th  (1 week)     6:30 to 8:30 pm

Mosaic Owl Garden Stake
